College Football is Back in Full Swing
September 17, 2018 |

We all know that moment when summer suddenly switches to fall.  everything becomes pumpkin flavored, the leaves start to turn from green to a reddish, golden brown and most importantly college football is BACK in full swing!

With football comes the all-important pre-game or tailgating festivities.  People will be decked out in their college teams’ colors, the RVs will be parked and blaring good ol' football tunes, and the grills will be going none stop until 30 minutes prior to kickoff.  It's the next best thing to Christmas time.

Endurance IT Services is no stranger to tailgating activities this year.  They're proud sponsors of ODU Football (in their 10th season) and the party was in full swing prior to the game against Liberty University.  The rain couldn't even keep our employees away from the tailgating party.  All the bigwigs were in attendance as well to celebrate the 1st game of the season.

Following a 2-hour lightning delay, the game finally kicked off.  Liberty took the lead when a 35-yard touchdown pass was completed.  Less than four minutes later, a 4-yard pass was completed for another touchdown for Liberty.  The final score was 52 - 10 (Liberty winning).  Even though the game did not turn out the way ODU wanted it to go, fun times were still had at the tailgate party.

This week ODU takes on Virginia Tech for the 1st time on their home turf.  Should be an interesting week at the Endurance IT offices since Blake White is an alumni of ODU and James Ashmore is an alumni of Virginia Tech.  Blue & White Vs. Orange & Maroon...who will come out on top?
