We’re actively seeking full time Service Desk Engineers with technical support skills and great customer service skills, to join our growing team in Virginia Beach. 

As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service to our customers, at all times
  • Respond to customer inquiries, electronically and via phone
  • Troubleshoot, problem solve and resolve customer issues
  • Document, track and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner
  • Redirect problems to correct resource
  • Update customers when issues are resolved
  • Update ticket tracking systems appropriately
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Inform management of recurring problems
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Work in a team environment and participate positively with the team
  • Periodic rotation for after-hours support, no more than 2x year

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Service Desk experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Must be motivated towards constantly improving their technical skills
  • Knowledgeable in use of MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience in troubleshooting O365, printers, monitors, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of wireless networks, routers, switches,  servers
  • Basic knowledge of service/help desk ticket systems
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma required
  • Technical Certifications a plus
