Service Desk Engineers
We’re actively seeking full time Service Desk Engineers with technical support skills and great customer service skills, to join our growing team in Virginia Beach.
As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service to our customers, at all times
- Respond to customer inquiries, electronically and via phone
- Troubleshoot, problem solve and resolve customer issues
- Document, track and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner
- Redirect problems to correct resource
- Update customers when issues are resolved
- Update ticket tracking systems appropriately
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Inform management of recurring problems
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates
- Work in a team environment and participate positively with the team
- Periodic rotation for after-hours support, no more than 2x year
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of Service Desk experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Must be motivated towards constantly improving their technical skills
- Knowledgeable in use of MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience in troubleshooting O365, printers, monitors, etc.
- Basic knowledge of wireless networks, routers, switches, servers
- Basic knowledge of service/help desk ticket systems
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
- Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma required
- Technical Certifications a plus
