Position Summary:

Seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of our network infrastructure and associated systems and processes ensuring reliability for our pilots and clients.


  • Perform new installations/upgrades, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and related devices ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly
  • Evaluate business requirements and make recommendations for implementation
  • Provide hands-on network engineering to ensure all projects and deliverables are completed accurately and on time, including deployment of projects and initiatives
  • Design and develop network for future technologies
  • Procure hardware, software, and other IT related equipment as needed
  • Ensure accountability for delivering well-tested, secure technologies that support the organizations vision and strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with most current and emerging network technologies
  • Repair and update hardware and software; create new systems; analyze, test, and assess software and/or other technical changes.
  • Respond to requests from change control, service outages, service requests, and act as a technical resource to others on the team
  • Assist in day-to-day project coordination and management of the network, including troubleshooting network problems and outages
  • Provide analysis, troubleshooting, communication, and consulting to clients and vendors
  • Secure network by establishing and enforcing policies, as well as defining and monitoring access


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 or more years of experience in a Network Engineer role
  • CCNA or CCNP certification required
  • Proficient hands-on experience and understanding of fundamental networking concepts,practices, procedures, and protocols such as: BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, STP, OSPF, HSRP, IP, SIP, and subnetting
  • Preferred knowledge of networking within cloud infrastructure such as, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platform
  • Knowledge of LTE network planning and implementation
  • Knowledge of IoT network Device planning and implementation
  • Knowledge and experience with routing protocols
  • Background in meeting security compliance such as HIPAA, HiTrust, ISO, and PCI
  • Self-starter able to troubleshoot independently in downtime or outage situations with the ability to also work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of wireless network design and troubleshooting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
